Vance continues to teach guitar and ukulele once a week and Tracey continues to direct and accompany

GIVING BACK TO THE MUSIC COMMUNITY
T&V encourage serious Composers, Songwriters, Artists, and Producers to attend music industry events to network and make important connections. Their newsletter "Friends In The Trenches" has helpful information and links to AIMP, SCL, PMC, PMA, CCC, GMS, and other organizations' events.

The Marino's were asked to take over the NSAI San Diego Chapter, which they've been doing since the Fall of 2012, and as a result, got them back into writing songs. They host guest publishers, music supervisors, hit songwriters, and music industry pros. NSAI was instrumental in helping the MMA get passed in 2018.

Tracey & Vance co-produced a Legacy Hit Songwriters concert series from 2018 to 2019. Songwriters told stories of how their hits came to be. The four-part series featured JACK TEMPCHIN, STEVE DORFF, MARTY PANZER, ALLAN RICH and JUD FRIEDMAN.

Since 2007, Tracey and Vance have been active members of the SCL, Society Of Composers and Lyricists. In 2017, they were asked by the Chairman Adryan Russ to join the SongArts Committee. SongArts hosts Music Supervisor listening panels and offers educational workshops for Film/TV songwriters.

Since 2009, Tracey and Vance Marino have had the honor of being judges for the San Diego County Fair Singer-Songwriter Contest. The SDC Fair is the largest in the U.S. with 1.5 million visitors annually. In 2019, Tracey judged the contest on Sun., June 9, 6-9 PM.
