AN EVENING WITH CHRISTOPHER CROSS
Join us as we welcome famed singer/songwriter Christopher Cross to the Clive Davis Theater. Helping to define adult contemporary radio in the early 80's, Cross charted eight songs into the Billboard Top 40, garnering five Grammys and an Oscar. Through the ensuing decades, Cross has steadfastly continued to hone his artistry, producing album after album of vital, uncompromising music, most in collaboration with long-time cohort Rob Meurer. Christopher's new album, Doctor Faith, is a beacon of thoughtful modern pop, dedicated to his primary inspiration, Joni Mitchell. Come hear him in discussion about Doctor Faith and his commitment to the advancement of his craft. After the interview with MusiCares Vice President Scott Goldman, Cross will take audience questions and perform a selection of songs. |
