Vance and Tracey Marino are full-time composers and producers for various production music libraries large and small. They recently signed 4 tracks for a special commercial music CD to one of the most successfull and well-known production music libraries in the world.

The Marinos have been a duo since they met on May 15, 1995. That night, at the Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach, San Diego, they started talking after they realized each of their dates had stood them up. They've been writing, producing, and performing music together ever since.

Tracey, a singer, keyboardist, and classically trained pianist originally from Boston, MA, and Vance, a singer, bassist, and seasoned lead rock, blues, and country guitarist originally from Oahu, HI, soon realized they could learn from -- and work with -- each other's various musical backgrounds.

In August 2009, they were signed as composers to write music for Studio 51, which provides music for a popular daytime talk show and its affiliates.

In April 2010, their song "Carnival Lights" was placed in Disney's Touchstone Pictures "The Last Song," starring Miley Cyrus.

Recent placements include: the Travel Channel's popular show, "Man v. Food," starring Adam Richman; WeTV's reality show "Little Miss Perfect"; a PBS exercise show "Sit and Be Fit"; a feature film in the U.K.; two award-winning documentaries; and dozens of indie films and short features.

The Marinos also compose custom tracks for libraries that provide the music for "Access Hollywood," FOX Sports, VH1, TLC, among other shows.

Since 2007, the Marinos have had nearly 600 music placements in film, TV, video games, broadcast commercials, websites, film trailers, and 40+ theatre productions. They also have four holiday songs in print by Piano Press of Del Mar, CA.

They have been panelists or lecturers for several songwriting and composing groups, sharing their resources and knowledge of how to write for production music libraries, their passion.
